Meg is a Certified Child Life Specialist with ten years of experience in the child life field. She is the handler for Facility Dog Angus. Meg is currently pursuing her master’s in Early Intervention and Human Development & Family Science; her and Angus are working together as a graduate assistant for Dr. Staton and the School of Human Sciences.

As a facility dog, Angus underwent two years of training prior to being placed with Meg. He is trustworthy in professional environments and can perform over 40 commands designed to motivate and inspire. Meg and Angus will keep office hours in LRW #170 weekly, Monday through Friday, for appointment visits.

Angus provides a soothing environment through sensory stimulation of petting him. He offers acceptance & unconditional love. Angus provides a positive experience & promotes positive coping during stressful situations. Angus can also provide lighthearted distraction through games & painting.
